The devices are designed to use Newpharm®‘s Mosquitorex® larvicidal liquid, a stagnant water treatment solution composed of 100% plant-derived substances.
To install MosKyp® simply open the manhole, choose a suitable interior wall and drill it with a 5 mm drill bit. Then you insert the supplied screw, fill the device with Mosquitorex® and fix it in an upright position above the pool of water, making sure it is well stable.
MosKyp® devices provide a 7-8 month lifespan with a 100 ml refill of Newpharm®'s Mosquitorex® larvicidal liquid, to be made before the next season.
Yes, Mosquitorex® is a larvicidal liquid based on oils and substances of plant origin, which naturally degrades and is safe for plants, pets and fish, even in case of accidental ingestion when used in the recommended dosages. The product forms a surface film on stagnant water, preventing mosquito larvae and pupae from breathing and hindering egg laying. In addition, controlled release through MosKyp® limits dispersion of the liquid in water and soil.
