The name MosKyp® comes from the combination of “Mosquito” and “Kypros” (Greek for copper), referring to the original idea developed by its creator, Andrea Bisaccioni, who used the larvicidal effect of copper. The logo features a stylized mosquito incorporating elements inspired by the alchemical symbol for copper, enclosed within a drop shape, representing the very small amount of larvicide required.
