MosKyp® devices are made from recyclable and non-toxic components, perfect for manholes and storm drains in urban settings. Thanks to the patented batteryless technology, they combine the effectiveness of a plant-derived larvicide with a system that can automatically regulate product release. The use of MosKyp® reduces the costs of pest control by up to 65%, decreasing the environmental damage derived from wasting larvicides and improving the quality of treatments.
Designed for urban applications, these smart devices provide continuous larvicidal treatment of the storm drain, up to 7 to 8 months on a single charge.
After this period, the device can be recharged again. Operation is based on the natural temperature variations between day and night, which allow the release of the larvicide to be self-regulated according to the conditions of the surrounding environment. This system, which takes advantage of thermal change, eliminates the need for batteries or other energy sources and optimizes the effectiveness of treatment.
